GEPAE, the first 20 years of experience in sport management

Abstract

The genesis of GEPAE is intertwined with the trajectory of the leading teacher at the School of Physical Education. This article aims to record and report the main activities carried out by the group. Founded in 2003, it held internal, national and international scientific events. It is registered with CNPq and has promoted courses and workshops, open to interested parties from different areas. It maintains training activities (scientific initiation, master's degree and doctorate), with 11 Masters and 3 Doctorates trained, in addition to Scientific Initiation and Undergraduate Monograph students. In relation to diffusion, production manifests itself in terms of publication of articles, book chapters and books on the area. It turned 20 years old in 2023.
