Abstract

This text is a development of the master's thesis “Amateur sports management: study of a futsal circuit in the city of Alvorada, Rio Grande do Sul”.  Its objective was to understand how management develops in the amateur futsal circuit in the city of Alvorada-RS, based on the trajectory of the managers of two teams. Circuit recognized as a universe of leisure, through the experience of its respective directors, who are team administrators, event organizers, gym managers, and other agents. Management methods carried out by team managers involve availability of time, dedication, and are linked to hybridism, which is similar to professional football, but with arrangements present in the amateur universe.
