Abstract
EditorialDear readers and those interested in Sports Management,
It is with great satisfaction that we are launching the first issue of a new edition of the Revista de Gestão e Negócios do Esporte (RGNE). The effort is still great, but it is essential for the area of Sports Management to have the dissemination of technical and scientific knowledge through a specific and specialized journal.
Specific, because RGNE is a journal that has Sports Management as its central theme. Sports Management is an area of knowledge (scientific and practical) that encompasses managerial actions related to the different sports manifestations (educational, training, participation and performance), all the organizational structures, managerial and administrative processes related to the Sports Phenomenon and its Industry.
Specialized, because RGNE is a publication of the Brazilian Sports Management Association (Abragesp), with the support of the Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA), aimed at producing and disseminating knowledge of Sports Management and the various themes related to this area.
It should be noted that, as of 2022, RGNE will be using the Open Journal Systems system (version 3.3.0.9), an open source system, thus preserving the integrity of the articles in an open access environment.
For this issue, we have a set of experience reports from the main research groups in Sports Management in Brazil. Extremely interesting and rich texts on the scientific production of the area in the country.
