Study and Research Group on Sports and Leisure Policies (GEPPOL): Trajectory, influences and perspectives

Abstract

The objective of this article is to present the trajectory of the Study and Research Group on Sports and Leisure Policies (GEPPOL) at the State University of Maringá (UEM) through the exposure of its study interests, the main theoretical references, the members and their respective scientific publications and the activities developed throughout their existence. Priority was given to actions that have a direct and indirect relationship with the area of ​​Sports Management, although the group has activities in other areas of study. The data were obtained from the Lattes CV of the group leader, Professor Fernando Augusto Starepravo and the members of GEPPOL and from the Directory of Research Groups in Brazil of the Lattes/CNPq Platform.
