Laboratório de Gestão do Esporte do Instituto Federal do Ceará – Lagesp/IFCE: um relato de experiência

Abstract

This paper aims to present an experience report on management and participation in the IFCE Sports Management Laboratory – Campus Fortaleza (Lagesp). Currently, Lagesp is the main space for teaching practices in various applied disciplines, for the development of research and for carrying out extension programs and projects for the Sports and Leisure Management Undergraduate Course on the campus. Throughout its 5 years of existence, Lagesp has promoted actions aligned with its initial purpose of serving as a pedagogical space and development of actions in favor of the professional training of sports and leisure management students and the improvement of management of Ceará sports organizations. Furthermore, Lagesp has played a significant role in the development of the Undergraduate Course in Sports and Leisure Management at IFCE – Campus Fortaleza, in order to consolidate it as a reference for undergraduate education in the sports management area in Brazil.
